ROCK LOBSTER & LOVE SHACK! A Luxurious 3 Story Family Beach Home with Guest Cottage, PRIVATE POOL and hot tub, has been a sought-after Carillon Beach vacation rental home for years and just right for the perfect family gathering. This home is located directly across from Carillon Beach Walk-over #8 – it’s that close! Step over the sand dunes to the sugary white sands and emerald waters, where you will find two complementary two sets of chairs (4 chairs) and pads with two umbrellas set up for you daily (March 1 - Oct 31).
Rock Lobster, the main house, accommodates 9 guests with wrapping porches and multiple ocean views. Love Shack the guest house, which is also meticulously appointed, accommodates 6 additional guests and offers yet more views of the ocean.
PRIVATE POOL - only registered guests may use the pool. The guest must request heating the pool - Daily fee required of $60 per day before taxes.

ROCK LOBSTER & LOVE SHACK are located in the sequestered gated community of Carillon Beach on the Gulf of Mexico, which enjoys 3900 feet of uncrowded, white, sugary-sand beaches. Amenities include 3 community pools: Bellview Park, Beach Club Pool (located on the Gulf of Mexico), and East Pool. There are tennis/pickle ball courts, full basketball court, children's play area and large green spaces. This is a walking, biking, golf cart community with cafe, exercise club, general store, and Baliage salon and spa. In addition to the manned entrance gate, Carillon also employs licensed security officers who patrol the grounds to ensure the safety of our guests. Carillon Beach is a 'Mayberry USA' beach community where lasting, even generational, memories are created. Also, Carillon Beach is a disability friendly community with a wheelchair lift to the main pool area and a handicapped accessible ramp from the pool to the beach. The upscale shopping and restaurants of Rosemary Beach and 30A are only a 3-minute drive away.

PARKING POLICY: 5 vehicles OR 4 vehicles and 1 golf cart. Maximum of one Vehicle or Golf Cart in the gravel area to be parked in front of a home, in the gravel. NO Golf Cart Charging of a cart that is parked on any gravel area. Charging must take place in the driveway.
GUARD GATE ENTRANCE PROCEDURE AND HOA PARKING POLICY: The Carillon Beach HOA has implemented a QR code entrance procedure for renters at the main entrance. All vehicles must register and pay a $35/vehicle parking fee to enter Carillon Beach. Upon registration, you will receive a QR code that you will use at the entrance scanner.

This is a family vacation home. WE DO NOT RENT TO VACATIONING GROUPS OF STUDENTS OR SINGLES. Pets considered on request.

Brittany, your review is puzzling, standing in stark contrast to all twenty-five 5 star reviews for this home. I live in Carillon full time and stated both orally in writing to you before your stay that if you find anything amiss please contact me ASAP and it will be promptly corrected. There are two grills on the property, one old one embedded in concrete, not yet removed, and the new one which I saw you and your guests using and enjoying. The charge to heat the pool covers the cost of natural gas to heat this large private pool. It is an optional charge, one that every guest can choose to pay if they wish the pool to be heated. The positioning of the queen beds, and all beds, is clearly displayed in the photos online before a guest chooses to book. All exterior doors to this house are three point hurricane doors as required by the county. The instructions for locking these doors are clearly stated in the guest book in the house. The doors allowing access to the pools also have an alarm (required by the county). This is a safety feature to prevent young children from gaining access to the pool without an adult present. The alarms are clearly labeled "Push before opening." Regarding the dishwasher in the Guest House, I spoke with you about it and explained that parts had been ordered and that, during COVID, obtaining parts can be a challenge. We were awaiting 3 parts for the control board (only 2 had arrived). It is unfortunate that you chose to leave this dishonest review instead of calling me about any issue(s) of concern. The "Check In" sheet asks guests to call promptly and report anything that is not up to standards. Not hearing from you, we naturally assumed, as is normal for us, that all was well.
