What a lovely Carillon home! Sandcastle Dreams has plenty of space for a large group to enjoy time in one of the finest beach communities on the Gulf.
My husband and I rent vacation homes quite often and we’ll be putting this one in our hall of fame! Karen, Rachel and Eric seem to have thought of everything. The home has exactly what you need to feel right at home. There is plenty of space in cabinets, drawers and closets to unpack and settle in. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and very well organized (including labels throughout). The gas grill out back was great, too.
From first inquiry to checkout, the communication was outstanding. We loved knowing that the management team was just a text away if we had questions or issues. We found the detailed online guidebook to be extremely helpful.
The housekeeping crew had the home in spotless condition when we arrived. There was plenty of space for our party of eight to spread out and get comfy. We loved the proximity to one of Carillon’s pools and beach walkovers (the others are also within easy walking distance). The porches were a favorite place to gather and connect with one another.
A few other notes that might be helpful:
1) The master closet is HUGE. You could easily use it as a nursery. There is even a pack-n-play provided. It would also be a good spot for a younger child to sleep on an air mattress.
2) Beach towels, a few beach toys and some basic beach chairs are provided.
3) We had plenty of hot water.
4) The hose on the side of the house and outdoor shower out back are perfect for “de-sanding” after a day at the beach.
In summary, we were VERY impressed with Sandcastle Dreams and with Carillon Beach Rentals. We will not hesitate to rent this home, or another property in their portfolio, when we make the next trip to our beloved Carillon!
