This was our 7th year at Carillon Beach and as usual it did not disappoint. We’ve vacationed other places, and this just feels like home to us. The Lucky Duck is probably the nicest place we have stayed in thus far. The house was big enough for our adult kids and younger kids to spread out and have their own spaces. I don’t even think we used all of the porches!!! But the side porch with all the sitting chairs was definitely a fan favorite. Our friends rented a different house, but they have an avid fisherman in their family and he was able to fish in the lake right behind us. The weather didn’t always cooperate with us this year, but it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful and memorable time regardless. Karen was great to deal with, and I would never hesitate to rent from them again.
