We LOVED our stay at the house and will definitely book it again! The private pool was on the smaller side, but we were so grateful to have it to ourselves and the kids didn’t even care that it’s more like a splash pool. The main house could use just a tad updating to make this a top of the line rental – a fresh coat of lighter-colored paint, more beach themed decor, etc. Having a bunch of beach towels was wonderful, the kitchen was large and the gas grill, green egg and fire pit were bonuses! The main house’s kitchen was very well stocked. The downstairs king bedroom does not have a private bath, but it didn’t bother us. The pool house is newer and decorated very nicely. The only thing missing in the pool house kitchen we’d like to have had was a toaster. Karen, the property manager, was amazingly kind and so helpful! She promptly responded to questions as we booked our visit and while we were there, and handled a couple minor issues during our stay immediately. One bed frame was broken but we were notified to treat it more gently, so that should already be fixed. The house location to the beach and restaurants in the neighborhood was A++! And it’s directly across the street from one of the neighborhood pools. The gated community feels super safe and the kids can ride bikes knowing there is less traffic. Only thing to add would be adding an ice maker. We went through a lot of it.
